The rooftop deck wraps around all four sides of the penthouse, with several distinct seating and entertaining areas. Designed by Australian landscape designer Jamie Durie, different sections look toward Malibu and the ocean, Santa Monica Pier and Palos Verdes, and east across Los Angeles toward Century City and Downtown. On especially clear days, the mountains beyond the Los Angeles basin are also visible.

The building sits at the top of the California Incline, which descends from Ocean Avenue to Pacific Coast Highway. Palisades Park is directly across Ocean Avenue, the Fairmont Miramar is next door, and Montana Avenue is within walking distance. The full-service building also has a heated pool, concierge, and doorman.

The penthouse is being sold by the family of George Kozmetsky, a co-founder of Teledyne who later served as dean of the University of Texas business school. Kozmetsky founded the university’s IC² Institute in 1977 and went on to establish the Austin Technology Incubator in 1989. His work through those organizations helped shape Austin’s technology and entrepreneurship economy.
