The Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival returns to Pittsburgh this June with a new home and a condensed seven-day schedule, bringing free music, visual art, dance, family programming, and artist markets to Arts Landing in the city’s Cultural District.

The 2026 festival runs June 5–7 and June 11–14. Headlining performances are scheduled each evening, while the Artist Market and Giant Eagle Creativity Zone run during the day. The festival has remained free and open to the public since its founding in 1960.

This year’s edition also marks the grand opening of Arts Landing, a new outdoor civic space envisioned and operated by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. Designed as the festival’s long-term home, the space includes a great lawn, permanent stage, landscaping, public art, a family play area, and other visitor amenities.

The music lineup spans genres including pop, hip-hop, soul, and jazz, with highlights such as Spin Doctors, The Pharcyde, The War and Treaty, Delfeayo Marsalis & The Uptown Jazz Orchestra, and Joan Osborne. That range gives the two-weekend festival a broader draw, from familiar national acts to performances rooted in the region’s wider arts scene.

Beyond the evening concerts, the festival includes a full slate of daytime performances and arts programming. Dance Battle 12 returns on Saturday, June 6, with an All Styles competition, cash prizes, trophies, and a live DJ. And on June 13, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is scheduled for an afternoon performance at the Dollar Bank Stage.

Visual art remains central to the festival. The annual Juried Visual Art Exhibition, presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust in partnership with Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, runs May 29 through June 28 at 820 Gallery. The exhibition is open to artists within a 150-mile radius of downtown Pittsburgh and includes five individual prizes, including Best in Show, three Jurors’ Picks, and a People’s Choice award.

For visitors, the split schedule offers several ways to experience the festival. Some may come for a single headliner or the Artist Market, while others can return across both weekends to see a broader mix of performances, exhibitions, and family programming.

With Arts Landing opening as a long-term home for the festival, this year’s edition introduces a new setting for one of the city’s longest-running arts traditions while still offering free public access to artists, performers, and creative work in the heart of Pittsburgh.
