In Dallas’ Bluffview neighborhood, The Elysian is a new residence that thoughtfully implements elements of Manhattan’s Gilded Age townhouses and Art Deco design. The six-bedroom home, spanning over 7,000 square feet, was built by Harrison Polsky and constructed by Catena Homes in collaboration with Briggs & Associates, with interiors by Matt Mazur.

Listing agent Harrison Polsky of Catena Homes/Douglas Elliman says the vision was to create a lasting architectural statement through its Art Deco and Gilded Age design references, rather than a trend-focused luxury build. “Bringing those influences to Dallas resulted in a home with a distinct sense of permanence, rich architectural detail, and a character unlike anything else on the market, offering a level of craftsmanship that is rarely found in new construction,” Polsky said.

The exterior sets the tone with custom brick, a slate roof, and a symmetrical street presence. Inside, the home carries that formal approach through high-gloss wood portals that frame key rooms and transitions, creating a subtle reference to old hotel lobbies and grand residential entries.

The main living areas are designed with entertaining in mind. A chef’s kitchen centers on a bespoke French L’Atelier range and an oversized island, while a hidden scullery keeps preparation and storage out of view.

The office is one of the home’s most distinctive rooms, and it’s one of Polsky’s favorite spaces. “Designing the wood and brick mantle surround was a pleasure, it gives the space a timeless, old-school sophistication,” he said.
A dedicated dining area, multiple living spaces, and a private office give the floor plan flexibility for daily life, work, and guests, with the primary suite on the first floor.

The Elysian also includes a wellness wing with a full gym and custom sauna, reflecting the way newer luxury homes are being built around health, recovery, and privacy.
The Bluffview setting adds to that positioning. The agent described the neighborhood as “incredibly sought-after,” noting that buyers regularly watch the area for new listings and teardown opportunities.
